corned beef hash and eggs for breakfast

breakfast for dinner

One of my favorite combinations is ham and cheese and one of my favorite ways to have breakfast is at dinner.  So, this is brioche bread with prosciutto and gruyere, topped with a fried egg.  I placed it all atop a side escarole salad so that the richness of the sandwich was balanced by the bitter greens.

pasta, vegetables and cake - a great meal

I had some leftover ground lamb so this penne is done with a tomato & lamb sauce.  Then I  made the 'classic' green bean casserole but freshened it up using fresh green beans.  What can be better than a homemade chocolate layer cake for dessert?
